Dollar Bank presents "Mortgages for Mothers" THIS Saturday, April 11th at the Wolstein Center at CSU from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM. It is a free workshop designed to make homeownership a reality. The program educates attendees on how to obtain a home with an affordable mortgage and about down payment options. Attendees receive a free credit report and evaluation, as well as learn about counseling programs created to strengthen and restore credit.
Attendees will learn about how to obtain and use grant money for closing costs, and how programs can help public housing residents and section 8 tenants and renters.
Dorothy Curtis, Assistant Vice President of Community Development, will discuss and assist with enrollment in Dollar Bank’s free Credit Enhancement Program to provide the knowledge needed to get a mortgage application approved. Through confidential one-on-one counseling, Dollar Bank’s credit counselors help analyze credit history and design a plan to correct any deficiencies. Completion of the program ensures a better understanding of the mortgage process and better preparation in qualifying for a mortgage loan. This opens the door to realizing the dream of owning a home.
Free childcare is provided during the Mortgages for Mothers workshop. To register, please call 1-800-345-3655 or go to: http://www.dollarbank.com/transitions/mortgagesformothers
